Start off the Sierra winter with an early outing in new snow at Badger Pass. We'll put on snowshoes and do a short trek to enjoy the almost solstice sunset and the light cast across the snow by the moon. If there's not enough snow for snowshoeing yet, we'll have a grand exploration nonetheless.
