Yosemite Institute

Yosemite Institute

Since 1971, Yosemite Institute (YI) has partnered with Yosemite National Park to provide student participants with opportunities to experience nature in a way that awakens their sense of wonder and builds ecological understanding. Each year, approximately 13,000 ethnically and socio-economically diverse students ranging in age from 7 to 18 attend YI's 1 to 5 day programs.

Yosemite Institute's mission is to provide educational adventures in nature's classroom to inspire a personal connection to the natural world and responsible actions to sustain it.
